El BIR es una asociaci\u00f3n \u00fanica entre varias partes interesadas del sector de la construcci\u00f3n, cuyos miembros representan tanto a su sector como a su propia empresa. Llegan a acuerdos pr\u00e1cticos en inter\u00e9s de todo el sector y se aseguran de que se apliquen en su propio segmento. Este folleto explica c\u00f3mo utilizar las normas o est\u00e1ndares abiertos, qu\u00e9 es una norma abierta y por qu\u00e9 necesitamos normas abiertas.
