El BEP es un componente clave para el \u00e9xito de la entrega de BIM, es el mecanismo para que todas las partes designadas respondan a los requisitos generales de entrega del cliente. El BEP es un documento vivo a nivel de proyecto que se actualizar\u00e1 constantemente a lo largo del proyecto seg\u00fan sea necesario. En primer lugar, debe elaborarse un BEP antes del nombramiento para facilitar el proceso de contrataci\u00f3n y, a continuaci\u00f3n, debe ser actualizado y mantenido por el equipo de ejecuci\u00f3n en su conjunto tras el nombramiento.
