EARLY PILOTS: Creating accurate geometric models roadways, utilities\/drainage, 3D solids some bridge elements. Intended uses: help construction activities automation tools stakeout, AMG, inspection verification, quantity measurements. LATER PILOTS: Tested capture 3D digital as-built models real time exported GIS. 2014: Kosciuszko Bridge first DB contract with BIM requirements, piloted 4D models. KEW GARDENS: Next large complex project with BIM requirements (focus case study). MODEL-BASED DELIVERY: Route 28 bridge first 3D model becomes legal contract document (Spring 2020 awarded). Second model-based planned Spring 2021. Progression: geometric modeling \u2192 as-built capture \u2192 4D scheduling \u2192 model-as-contract.<\/p>\n\n\n
