A:\u202fThe\u202fGlobal BIM Network is an international community of practice\u202ffor public sector representatives\u202fto respond to\u202fglobal infrastructure challenges\u202fby\u202fleveraging\u202fthe opportunities and benefits offered by digital technologies applied to the built environment, currently accomplished through the implementation of BIM.\u202fFind out more about its scope and aims here<\/a>.\u202f\u202f\u00a0\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q: Who can join the Global BIM Network?\u202f <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A:\u202fThe Global BIM Network is for the public sector and by the public sector.\u202fPublic sector representatives from across the world may join and participate. \u202fMembers\u202fwill share knowledge and\u202fbuild\u202fbest practice for the global public sector\u2019s use of digital\u202finnovation\u202fto foster the\u202fsustainable\u202fdevelopment\u202fof the\u202fworld\u2019s infrastructure.\u202f\u202fCurrent membership consists of representatives from government ministries and agencies (economy, finance, construction, business and industry) and multi-lateral\u202forganisations\u202f(UNOPS, Inter-American Development Bank and Asia Development Bank).\u202fIndividuals working in the private sector are welcome to access information and engage with us.\u202fTo express interest in joining the Global BIM Network, please sign up<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A:\u202fTime and willingness to collaborate are the key commitments we require\u202fat this time.\u202fCurrently, the development of the Global BIM Network is\u202fsupported by the Construction Innovation Hub\u202fand the\u202fForeign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).
