BIM Implementation SMEs Colombia Research

March 2024 research demonstrates BIM implementation level in Colombian construction industry through survey. Concluded: BIM methodology implementation in Colombia INCIPIENT without full industry implementation. Many enterprises continue traditional methods, however benefits in companies where implemented are evident. Statistically significant differences found in BIM maturity/knowledge variables among groups (enterprise type, organizational levels). Collaborative strategies could reduce barriers: lack of knowledge, extra costs, fear of change.
