Czech Railway Modernisation with EIB Support

European Investment Bank (EIB) and Czech Ministry of Finance CZK 48.8 billion total loan (CZK 24 billion in 2023, CZK 13 billion in 2024) to upgrade TEN-T railway lines and deploy European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS). Managed by Správa železnic under Ministry of Transport. Project consists of ~40 sub-projects scheduled completion by end 2028. Several sub-projects prepared with JASPERS support to align with EU standards.
