Digital construction in Vietnam

Women in BIM article June 23, 2021. Work-sharing approach from multinational corporations significantly contributed to uptake of digital practice and BIM adoption. Local workforce trained, gained experience in smarter way of working, applies it to local projects. No mandate for BIM use currently, but last few years seen BIM investment at Government level. Digital Built Britain supported local Government to increase awareness through pathfinder projects and standards development. April 2021 Ministry of Construction issued general guidance document on application of BIM closely aligned to ISO 19650, moves Vietnam’s construction projects in line with established global best practice
